GOTS

Dear April is certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), the world’s leading textile processing standard for organic fibres.

GOTS stipulates requirements throughout the entire supply chain - from virgin fibre to final product - for both the ecological and labour conditions in textile and apparel manufacturing using organically produced raw materials. In addition, the certification includes welfare standards for animal husbandry and prohibits genetically modified organisms.

About the Organic Content Standard

(The OCS certification of a product only refers to the percentage and origin of the organic fibers.)

The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is an international, voluntary standard that provides chain of custody verification for materials originating on a farm certified to recognised national organic standards. The standard is used to verify organically grown raw materials from the farm to the final product.

Individual sites are certified by independent, third-party certification bodies using annual audits. Material is tracked from the farm to the final product following Textile Exchange’s Content Claim Standard (CCS) requirements. For more information or to apply for certification, please visit TextileExchange.org/Integrity.

The Organic Content Standard (OCS) aims to increase organic agriculture production
